About The Event
Open Trail Collective is excited to host a family-friendly guided walk at the F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm, one of our favorite places to hike, explore, and learn! It will take place at 10AM on Friday 1/3. We will kick off the new year with a hike guided by one of Summit Metropark's naturalists as we explore the trails and learn about the animals and ecosystem of this 104-acre natural area. Come early or stay late to explore their hiking trails, walking paths, several ponds and gardens, a prairie, an arboretum featuring more than 300 species of shrubs and trees, and a visitor center (opens at 10AM). We will provide light refreshments afterwards.
If the weather doesn't cooperate that day, a naturalist will do an animal encounter with us inside the nature center.
