About The Event
Join us for a 6-mile kayak journey down the Cuyahoga River with kayaks and shuttles provided by our friends at Cuyahoga Valley Adventures (CVA). This is an exciting section of the river! We will start with a safety briefing at Cuyahoga Valley Adventure's Merriman Valley location at 930AM (1570 Akron Peninsula Rd, Akron, OH 44313, USA), then we will be shuttled to the beaaaauuutiful new Valley View area in Akron, and then we will end 6-miles down river at the NEW Northampton Point at the base of the CVNP.
SECTION OVERVIEW:
This section is more technical than other sections of river with swifter water and more twists and turns. While beginners are welcome, we recommend some kayaking experience for this section due to the more technical flows. Donation Sliding Scale - $60
This is a donation based adventure, please share what you can even if it is not $60. The rental cost includes kayak, instruction, PFD (personal flotation device), and shuttles to and from boat launches. There is no guide for this adventure. Tandem kayaks are are a suggested donation of $115. PLEASE PURCHASE TICKET PER PERSON JOINING. ALSO, PLEASE INDICATE WHAT KAYAK TYPE YOU WOULD LIKE.
