About The Event
Come join us for bouldering at Rockmill, Akron's premier climbing, yoga, and fitness destination. This open-gym-style event will bring together experienced climbers with newbies to share tips and encourage each other. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time climber, our friendly and judgment free group welcomes all skill levels. Learn new skills or share what you already know! This is a great way to try something new and make some new friends!
We will all meet at the entry of the facility while we get shoed up. Once everyone has their climbing shoes on, we will introduce ourselves, share our climbing/bouldering experiences, our goals, needs, hopes and fears. We will then learn how to manage risk while bouldering, since it is a "ropeless" climbing experience. This means that we will climb up and then back down OR we will climb up and control our falls onto the soft mats…
