About The Event
Join Open Trail Collective and Cuyahoga Valley Queer Birders as we explore Crown Point Ecology Center's beautiful farm property.
The Queer Birders of Cuyahoga County is a group of bird watchers and nature lovers of all levels of experience providing a safe and welcoming social experience for people in the LGBTQ + community in and near Cleveland, Ohio.
OTC team member, Megan, will be working alongside the team from Cuyahoga Queer Birders to lead this adventure.
Crown Point Ecology Center, a 130-acre historic farmstead, overlooks the Cuyahoga Valley and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The property consists of a 10-acre Certified organic farm, woodlands, meadows and a wetland-pond ecosystem.
Crown Point aims to demonstrate the practical applications of ecology and connect spirituality, social justice and environmental protection. Their task is to continue to be a role model for food security and sustainable land use through farm stewardship, advocacy, education and collaboration.
