Join us for an immersive Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course taught by a SOLO instructor at the University of Akron Field Station in Bath, OH. Designed for outdoor enthusiasts, adventurers, and professionals, this comprehensive course equips you with the essential skills to handle medical emergencies in remote settings. Set against the backdrop of the 411-acre Bath Nature Preserve, the course combines hands-on training with real-world scenarios in a diverse natural environment. Learn to assess injuries, treat wounds, manage environmental hazards, and make critical decisions when help is far away. Whether you're a hiker, camper, or outdoor leader, this course prepares you for the unexpected in the wilderness.
The WFA is 16 hours long (two days) and will meet each day from 8:30AM to 5:30PM with an hour for lunch.

Response and assessment
Musculoskeletal injuries
Environmental emergencies
