Join us on Thursday, July 18, for a relaxing, one-mile guided hike through the scenic trails surrounding the Lake Erie Nature & Science Center. Led by an experienced naturalist, this family-friendly outing is a great opportunity to explore the vibrant habitats nestled along the shores of Lake Erie.
As we wander through this coastal ecosystem, we’ll learn about the native wildlife and plants that call the area home. Keep an eye out for majestic birds like great blue herons and belted kingfishers, and you might even spot a bald eagle soaring above. The trails are also frequented by muskrats, turtles, and colorful summer wildflowers including swamp milkweed and joe-pye weed.
