Join us for our a discussion on the book The Adventure Gap: Changing the Face of the Outdoors by James Mills followed by a ~2mi hike on the My Mountain trail to the overlook in the Brecksville Reservation of Cleveland Metroparks.

About The Event
Start with introductions, setting expectations, and centering. Get into the actual book discussion and then hike!
My Mountain Trail is a new two-mile natural surface trail that features seven crossing structures, a 300-foot boardwalk, and a scenic overlook. This trail makes up a portion of the Buckeye Trail and connects to the Oak Grove Picnic Area and Plateau Picnic Area.
GETTING THERE:
We will be meeting at the Plateau Picnic Area - more info can be found here .
GUIDED HIKE NOTE:
Bring water, walking shoes or boots, and a carrier for littles. Please make sure you are dressed for the weather!!
