About The Event
Whether snow is here or not, we will discover how fun, yet challenging snowshoeing can be. Depending on snow conditions, guests will snowshoe or hike while learning fun snowshoeing facts.
If there is at least 4” of snow, guests will strap on snowshoes and try snowshoeing as well as play some fun snowshoeing games. Snowshoes/equipment will be provided.
If there isn’t enough snow, guests will hike the trails and engage in a scavenger hunt for fun facts about snowshoeing along the way.
In both programs, participants will be introduced to snowshoe terminology and history.
Participants will learn how to properly fit a snowshoe.
Participants will experience different snowshoeing techniques.
Tickets
Snowshoeing - $10
This ticket includes a snowshoeing lesson and snowshoeing gear. Please dress for the weather and wear winter boots. Pay whatever you can afford even if it's not the full $10. $10 covers the cost of the program, any amount over $10 helps us pay for friends that cannot afford it.
