Join us on a guided hike through the Oenslager Nature Center where we will explore mature forest, wetlands, meadows and prairies. Come join us as we hike ~1 mile and learn about the area and then we will explore the nature center.

About The Event
Open Trail Collective is excited to host a family-friendly guided walk from Medina Park's Oenslager Nature Center at the 248-acre Alderfer-Chatfield Wildlife Sanctuary. Medina County Park District Naturalists will guide us as we encounter the plants and animals living in the wetlands, meadows, and woods of Alderfer-Chatfield Wildlife Sanctuary! The guided hike will start at 10 AM on Friday 3/21. We will go on a ~1mi guided hike to learn about the animals and ecosystem of this unique natural area and then have 30 minutes of free play and snacks.
Join us in building an outdoor-loving community community! Connect with parents, families, and friends while discovering new favorite gear and exploring awesome trails.
Bring grandma, cousins, friends, whomever! No family? No problem! This hike is open to anyone who wants to join.
